The Jesus Exchange

An Invitation into Real Life

The Gospel is a multi-faceted diamond that reflects Jesus, the Light of the world. The forgiveness facet has riveted the attention of most Christian believers in the West, but there is another facet: the transformation facet. This one is as dazzling as the forgiveness facet but it has been hidden from view for the past 1000 years.

An exciting stream of theological research has emerged during the past 20 years. The discoveries have gone deep into the Gospel diamond to illumine the Scriptural truth that we are to be partakers of God’s own nature now, not in a future by and by. This happens by the process of transformation, i.e., becoming the likeness of Jesus.

All who immerse themselves into Christ Jesus can realize this destiny and find their way into becoming the persons God created them to be.

Many Christians, in some raw and honest place in their hearts, long for more in their relationship with God, asking, often silently: Is there something else? Is there more to being a Christian than being forgiven? Am I more than a pardoned sinner? Is there more to experience of Christ directly?

If you long for a faith that offers much more than a ticket to heaven—a faith walk that moves beyond religion and into the realm of intimate relationship with Jesus, you’ll be enthralled by The Jesus Exchange.

Through his years of clinical practice, Dr. Bill Day has discovered that authentic healing comes not through wooden, mental assent to Christian doctrines but through fluid, spiritual attachment to God Himself. The Jesus Exchange ministry welcomes Christ’s own life into ours—His holiness in place of our sin, His blessing in exchange for our curse, His freedom for our captivity. I’m nourished and thrilled by every thought and experience of this divine exchange that Bill heralds so well. While The Jesus Exchange isn’t a theological treatise, Dr. Day ably challenges the traditional, Western emphasis on Jesus’ death more than His life. Though I’m a traditionalist regarding substitutionary atonement, Bill’s writing stretches me, and inspires me to think expansively and to embrace the life-giving, saving work of Christ for all it means.

“I have been a believer for a long time and know of God’s Love, but not to the degree I read and understand in The Jesus Exchange. In this book I find I’m nestled in the love of God in every way, at every turn.  It’s almost overwhelming. It’s written in a way that illuminates a rarely understood truth. A must read!”

The Jesus Exchange is an amazing look at the transformation offered by God through Jesus. In the healing Jesus offers, the old life is flushed out and His new life rushes in to fill the void with the peace and joy our hearts ache for. Do yourself a favor, read this book and let Bill tell you his story. Allow him to show you the life-changing transformation that is in Christ Jesus.

Healing Troubled Hearts

through exchanges with the Master

This book addresses the turbulence that can come into our lives at any moment and that can often remain in our hearts for a long time. Healing Troubled Hearts shows specifically how Christian inner healing can bring calm to storms, like Jesus quieting the waters of the Sea of Galilee.

“In Healing Troubled Hearts, Bill Day has made an invaluable contribution to the literature regarding how we can engage with God in order to heal our brokenness. Bill’s multi-faceted background and painstaking journey uniquely qualify him to speak with wisdom to address many of the misunderstandings about inner healing that are so prevalent today. I heartily recommend this work to anyone who still has questions about whether or not Christians need inner healing, and whether or not this ministry is a work of God.”

David Takle, M. Div., author of The Truth About Lies And Lies About Truth, Lamb of God, and Copernicus 2.0

“This is a truly great piece of writing . . . thorough and from the heart. As an editor of Christian-themed books, I appreciate that the author makes his points without a “preachy” tone. Healing Troubled Hearts is a candid account of Dr. Day’s personal journey from brokenness to healing, woven together with the broader details of inner healing ministry. It is a must-read for anyone who is trapped in pain from earlier life experiences and desires to be set free.”
